About the position
Client based in JHB seeks the services of Marketing Communications Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication plans tailored specifically for the MEA region.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify key market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Create engaging content for various marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop impactful marketing campaigns and initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Plan and coordinate corporate events, conferences, and trade shows, ensuring successful execution and maximum brand exposure.
- Supervise and analyze marketing and communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing and communication to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Provide regular progress updates on activities to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (>5 years) in corporate marketing and communication, preferably in the MEA region.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages relevant to the MEA region is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and communication strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
- Familiarity with market research and analysis techniques.
- Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with remote teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
