Sales Executive

About the position

Requirements:

• Trade qualification: something technical or, some sales/commerce diploma.
• Combination of both would be preferred.
• 3 or 4 years minimum years of experience- directly in machine tools

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Opening and closing every day
• Sales: maintaining and building customer base, generating new business.
• Dealing with Government tenders
• IT proficiency required here: quotations, email, excel, word etc)
• Logistics: oversee loading and offloading of stock (deliveries to customer and stock arriving from head office Cape Town
• Spare parts ordering and logistics from the Far East.
• Technical; basic knowledge of machine tool operation and ability to repair minor issues on site.
• Service: being able to delegate/liaise with contracted technicians regarding on site repairs (warranty and otherwise)
• Co-ordinate with technical service department.
• Sales projects - coordinated with the Sales Manager and Owner.
• Co-ordinate loading and unloading of equipment with warehouse staff.
• Commissioning of simple machinery, when within the scope of your abilities.

MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGED OF THE FOLLOWING MACHINERY/TOOLS:
- Laser cutting- Slant Bed CNC Lathe- Hand-held Fibre Laser Welding Machine- Fibre Laser Cutting Machine- Vertical CNC Milling Machine- Knee & RAM type Universal Milling Machine
