About the position

As a Sales Manager for Warehouse Automation, your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of our business through effective lead generation, sales activities, and revenue generation. You will play a crucial role in strategically promoting our products and services, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. The following duties outline the key responsibilities associated with this role:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Meetings:

  • Take ownership of lead generation initiatives to identify and engage potential clients.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospects to understand their needs and promote our products and services.

Sales Activities:

  • Set and achieve sales activity and revenue targets, consistently striving to exceed goals.
  • Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition to potential clients.

Client Engagement:

  • Visit potential clients to evaluate their needs and tailor product/service offerings accordingly.
  • Negotiate sales terms in accordance with company policies, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Ensure client payments from closed deals adhere to agreed-upon payment terms.

Pricing and Quotes:

  • Determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and competitive sales quotes to prospective clients.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Complete internal paperwork necessary for invoicing and order delivery.

CRM Management:

  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date client records, activities, and quotes within the CRM system.
  • Utilize CRM data to inform sales strategies and enhance customer relationships.

Customer Interaction:

  • Address client inquiries regarding credit terms, products, prices, and availability in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business requirements.
